Introduction to Kibaha Environmental Conservation Action (KECA)
Kibaha Environmental Conservation Action, or KECA, is a dedicated non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Kibaha, Pwani, Tanzania. With a steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability, KECA works across Tanzania Mainland to empower communities to protect and conserve natural resources and combat the negative impacts of climate change. Our team is driven by a vision of a resilient environment supported by community-led conservation efforts and nature-based solutions.
Our Mission
At KECA, our mission is to promote sustainable livelihoods within local communities through a range of environmental conservation initiatives. We are committed to mitigating the adverse effects of climate change by encouraging practices such as tree planting, beekeeping, and the dissemination of environmental education. Through these efforts, we aim to build a sustainable future that benefits both people and the planet.
